Amy’s Cheesecakes is the chronicle of cheesecake experiments, triumphs, flops, discoveries, frustrations, dreams, and musings of a determined upstart of a baker in Southern New Jersey.

About Me… Amy.

If someone would have told me when I was younger that I would be a mom of three by the age of 25 and bake cheesecakes, I would have laughed in their face.  My story doesn’t come from years and years of helping my mom in the kitchen.  Although she makes a killer apple pie and to this date has only made one dinner that wasn’t edible.   OK.  Maybe two.  My story is pretty simple.  I love cheesecake!  Unfortunately, the only way I could really get a good slice was if my husband and I went out to eat.  Which is pretty much never with three kids running around.  The mass produced cheesecakes in the grocery stores just weren’t cutting it.  So my adventure began…

Five years later and after many cracks and disasters, I am determined to fulfill everyone’s cheesecake craving.  I currently sell about ten different flavor cakes in a variety of sizes year round with an addition of three seasonal cakes around the holidays.  However, I am constantly experimenting with new flavors and toppings.  When it comes to cheesecakes, the possibilities are endless!
